BodyBuilder Full Day of Eating

I've been doing a 16/8 intermittent fasting plan for three years, so keep that in mind when following this program. You can learn more about Intermittent Fasting here.


Meal 1:

For my first meal of the day I like to get in a good amount of carbs to energize myself for a busy day. 

Fat: 9.6g
Carbs: 37.8g
Protein: 28g
Calories: 362g

Egg Breakfast Bowl:
3/4 Cup Egg Whites
1 Whole Egg
1 tbsp of Guacamole
Onions & Peppers
1 serving Ketchup

Cream of Rice:
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup water
Sprinkle of PB2
Dash of sugar-free maple syrup

Meal 2:

Keeping fats low and proteins high is mandatory when I'm bodybuilding and trying to keep fat low and muscle gains high. Delicious and filling, these rice bowls with low fat proteins are staple in my diet — I eat something like this almost every day.

Fat: 3.2g
Carbs: 43.8g
Protein: 37.5g
Calories: 364g

Ingredients: (Shrimp & Rice Bowl)
4.5 oz Shrimp
3/4 cup rice
Onions & Peppers
1 Cup Snap Peas
Franks Red Hot

Meal 3: 

One of the reasons why I love Brussel sprouts so much is because of how much Brussel sprouts benefits bodybuilding. They contain a chemical compound called sulforaphane, which sustains muscle mass and increases muscle recovery speed after a heavy workout session. I include these delicious veggies in my diet whenever I can, and they taste amazing in the air fryer!

Fat: 7.5g
Carbs: 26.6g
Protein: 23.1g
Calories: 255g



One of the easiest ways to boost your health and increase protein intake is to drink a shake! I tend to add some berries for flavor and increased antioxidants, but in a pinch, you can just mix protein powder and water. I also have a piece of peanut butter and toast every day. It's just something I love!

Carbs: 73g
Protein: 38g
Calories: 579

And there you have it —A sneak peek into what my daily eating habits look like. As you can see, you don't have to reinvent the wheel when you're looking to eat healthy, you just need to have a little preparation in advance. That's probably the biggest tip I can give!
