Finally had a chance to meet up with this chick, @brookeence , and she put me through her workout. Well after I made her do my bench sets for today -> bench 5x2 at 185 RPE 7.5
Today’s Partner Workout:
1️⃣ 80 Wallballs
2️⃣ 80 Thrusters (w/ 25lb DB)
3️⃣ 80 Kettlebell swings (30lb)
4️⃣ 80 Burpees
5️⃣ 80 kcal. Row (each at the same time)
It doesn’t seem like a lot looking at the workout but I got rocked, in a really good way. I thoroughly hated and enjoyed it at the same time if that makes sense...I really enjoy learning. It almost made me feel slightly uncoordinated and definitely much slower. As a bodybuilder everything is usually slower, more controlled and focusing on squeezing and really feeling the muscle. Not that CrossFit isn’t controlled it’s just movements are performed at such a higher pace. But I absolutely love the crazy intensity CrossFit has. The power the speed. Kinda really makes me want to learn more and incorporates this more on a daily basis.
