Yo! DLB here. Hope you're crushing the start of the new year! Today, I wanted to share with you my morning routine and how I like to fuel my body before tackling the day.
First things first, I always like to track my daily activity and intake. Yesterday, I did about 5.6 miles of total output and consumed around 2,017 calories. That puts me at #1,730 on the leaderboard out of 62,000 people, which isn't too shabby if I do say so myself.
After a good sweat sesh, it's time to relax and recharge with a cup of coffee. But before I get started on my to-do list, I like to make a big, nourishing breakfast. Today, I'm whipping up a breakfast burrito with some leftover turkey breast, cheese, guac, salsa, and pico de gallo.
I know some people shy away from fat, but I'm all about that healthy fat life. It helps keep me full and satisfied throughout the day. Plus, a little bit of sodium never hurt anyone (just don't go overboard). And if you're not a fan of plain old rice, try adding some almond milk and salt to give it a little flavor boost. Trust me, it's delicious.
After breakfast, it's time to get to work. I've got some animals to take care of and some shore work to do before I can sit down and enjoy a well-deserved lunch. Speaking of lunch, I'm thinking about grilling up some of these bad boys (holds up wrap). They're super easy to make and you can customize them with your choice of protein. I've done shrimp, chicken, and ground turkey before and they've all turned out great.
Well, that's about it for now. I'm off to start my day, but I'll be back soon with more supplement tips and tricks. Stay healthy, my friends!
