During Dana’s prep for Olympia I noticed she was doing something that she hasn’t done in years; logging her workout in a journal. She used it as both a way of remembering workouts she enjoyed and also a tool of accountability. Occasionally reading through it, I noticed that there was something there. Everyone who will read this journal will take something different from it which I think is unique. 
This journal is NOT a nutrition plan. It is NOT a training program. It is NOT the “secret” to getting shredded. It was never supposed to be seen by the public. Some may use it as an aid in their own workout or prep, some will use it for a new routine change, some will use it for entertainment; but whatever you use it for, you will realize It is special. If you followed along in our “DLB | ROAD TO THE OLYMPIA 2014” series on Youtube, you will see how the book ties to the videos.
One of the things that I took from reading through this journal is the work ethic that it shows. Dana takes everything very seriously. No matter what it is, she gives it everything she has in every aspect. This book shows joy, struggle, emotion, passion, happiness, and determination. No matter what type of mood she was in, Dana would not let it negatively effect her workout. For some this journal may be different then expected or interpreted in different lights. But no matter what, this book should inspire you…  #olympiaprep2014 #nobodytrainsthishard
